Here is my favourite conspiracy theory. The earth is hollow and is actually an egg. The sun is the natural parent. It is time to hatch so the sun is pouring out heat waves. If not for God no flesh would survive. The earth would blow up. Natural gas and oil mixed with lava and a great earthquake to start a chain reaction.
